Skywatch Friday

Ever since the Labor Day Weekend Lakewood's weather has put on a magnificent display of every type of cloud in the book. From stringy Cirrus to massive Cumulonimbus and everything in between.

With high winds, flash storms and a constantly changing sky, one can almost feel the earth tilting back on its axis, away from the sun and the touch of Fall in the air. Nighttime temperatures have dropped into the 50's and daytime highs have settled into the comfortable 70's.

Beautiful sunsets still persist over Riverside Drive as the hours of daylight diminish. It's as if Riverside Drive is Nature's stage for these evening events.
