skywatch friday

The sustained warm temperatures of the last couple weeks have helped the flowering trees bust out much earlier than normal!

Yesterday's beautiful blue sky created a beautiful backdrop.

It was difficult to come inside. After the morning program at the Lakewood library, Baby Bingo and I headed out for a stroll - at 10:30 we made a quick stop back at the house to pack up lunch food, water, and put on our sunblock.

The call of the nearby Rocky River Reservation was irresistible - Bingo loved watching all the wildlife and liked working on his goose calls. At 2:30 we finally made it back to my street - considering our route, I figured we logged in at least 6 miles - not too bad for a day's stroll.
