I snapped this photo of Carl of Arthur Avenue last week before the current heat wave settled in.   I sure hope Carl put his plans to paint his house - BY HIMSELF - on hold until reasonable weather returns. 

Carl cheerfully tackles what would be a overwhelming project for most  what an inspiration - when his home needs painting  he gets to it - a good lesson for all of us! 

Fortunately,  starting Saturday night the weather is expected to improve - let's hope it will be bye-bye to days in the 90s (with heat indexes above 100) and good riddance!
