Despite the lack of rain,  the raised bed garden at the Lakewood house is looking mighty nice.  I've heard that tomatoes like hot weather, if that is the case,  there should be a good crop of tomatoes this year.  

However, you couldn't prove that adage by looking at my tomato plants - perhaps  my summertime wanderings out of town have taken a toll. 

But no worries, there's always the farmers market.
