There always is an explosion of houses for sale during the summer. The street I live on is only about 3 blocks long and there are six houses with for sale signs in the front yard. To me, this seems like an awful lot even considering this is the 'busy season.'
There are many reasons people move - talking with some of my neighbors who are leaving no one is leaving because they don't like life in Lakewood. People are wanting to sell because reasons out of their control - changes in the family or being transferred out of town for a job.
I am sad when the people leaving are friends but I'm happy for them when their houses are sold.
I was curious about how many houses are for sale in Lakewood, according to the Trulia website, there are 640 houses for sale in Lakewood - residential property ranges in price from a low of $11,111 (for a foreclosured condo) to a $849,000 mansion on the lake!
