skywatch friday
Today for skywatch Friday a study in green and blue!
Despite what I've been hearing about the effect of this summer's horrible heat and below normal precipitation I've noticed a lot of the apple trees around town are really loaded with fruit. I have no idea how this year's summer weather will affect the taste of the apples - will they be tarter than usual or sweeter than usual?
Along with lots of apples on the trees, there are lots of apples already on the ground. One person was having some fun with some of the windfalls. I wonder if any of this street's wildlife (squirrels, raccoons, or possums) will consider the spiked apples as treats and start nibbling away?

Lol. Maybe the squirrels and birds would love that. Happy sky watching.
Still Cloudy
The second one is so funny ! It's a bit a waste of food, but it is a really good idea.
